Back in July of this year we featured an old school GSXR from
Second
Image Inc. This Month we feature a newer gixxer that the
guys have built and man is this thing nice to look at.
The bike is a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000, and the main focus for
this bike was big pimpin’ and the blue chrome is definitely
pimp. The Bike was completely ripped apart and was treated to
a heavy dose of chroming. Blue candy chrome was used on the
frame, sub frame, single-sided swingarm, fork ends, and clip-ons.
Traditional chrome was used on the front forks, Galfer rotors,
Performance Machine calipers, RC components Raven Wheels (330
Rear), Vortex rear sets, triple trees, master cylinders, shock
linkage, dog bones, steering stabilizer, shorty exhaust, clutch
and engine covers, and all mounting hardware.
With all the metal on this bike being chromed it was only natural
that the plastics had to be treated to the same bling. Plastics
that were chromed include mid fairing plastics, duct covers,
rear mid tail plastic, tank pads, side frame covers (under tank),
radiator cover, and the wind screen.
Final touches on this build include custom paint done in house,
neon lights, angel eyes, air ride suspension, all braided lines,
ST Machine Pig spotter II mirrors, and ST Machine SR 24 levers.
The guys at Second Image keep putting out some great work,
